Dear Sharon,
Just wanted to convey a much too belated condolence for David’s passing away.
I feel bad that I wasn’t around the day they conveyed his body from your home,
and I cherish David’s memory. I mainly remember one friendly conversation I
had with him on a day we accidentally ran into each other at the doorway
to/from my primary care physician, Pat Moyer. Perhaps she was David’s
physician, too? Anyhow, I hope you are doing well in this sad aftermath of
losing a cherished spouse. If I can be of any help, please don’t hesitate to
ask.
All good wishes,
Joel

Hi Neighbors,
You may know that Jon Hecht is not running for re-election as our State Rep.
He's been terrific and we will miss him. However, I'm delighted that my friend
Steve Owens is running for this open seat. Steve has been the long-time chair
of the Watertown Dems and is also an elected member of the State Democratic
Party, where he has worked to expand voting, and he was a core part of the team
that worked on all of my election campaigns. There is no one I'd rather have as
Jon's replacement!
I'm hosting a virtual House Party for Steve next Wednesday, May 13, at 7.
Please join me!
I'll be sending out a zoom link soon. Please RSVP so I'll know how many
virtual cookies I need to bake. Don't miss this chance to meet Steve and let
him know what issues are important to you. Meanwhile, you can find out more at
votesteveowens.com<http://votesteveowens.com>.
Hope to see you on Wednesday!
