Hello!
Not long to go now! By the time you get to the end of term you'll be
needing a cold one, whatever your poison.
Lucky for everyone that Jaimie has lined up Prof Alan Mackay-Sim to come
and have one with us on the verandah at the Australian Hotel right here in
Gympie that night. From 6pm on Sept 15 we'll be chatting with Alan about
his work in stem cell research, what he knows about the nose that we don't
knows and top tips to a magnificent moustache. Alan will be staying in
Gympie that night so we'll be staying on to dinner if you'd like to join
us.
This is a free event but tickets are available at gympieboxoffice.com.au so
that we can order some catering platters for you. We have booked tables in
the family area on the verandah so children are welcome.
We'd like to make this an event a few times a year as part of the Gympie
Bone Museum so please show us that you think it's a good idea and share
this with your networks so that as many science superheroes as possible see
it.
