[guispeak] outlook express and new message alert

Hi,
Could someone tell me if that alert sound that's built into outlook express
can be turned up a little louder? It's so light sounded that I can barely
can hear it. I like the one that's in Eudora. If this can be done, please
send me some instructions on how to do this. I'm using window eyes 5.5 beta
