[guispeak] Programs and the System Tray

Often, when I start the computer, Jaws and the Sygate Personal Firewall are not displayed in the system tray. Clearly, Jaws is running; otherwise, I couldn't
view the tray. I can't tell whether Sygate is running. Going to the start menu and opening Sygate solves the problem most of the time. Sometimes, however,
when you hit the Windows key or control-escape, the start button comes up. The only solution is to restart the computer.

What is likely to be wrong? How might I correct the problems?

Thank you.
