Hi Flor,

You may have a screen reader - I don't.

Which makes your 8 point type messages a shade hard for me
to read! (Smile)

George.

Subject: [guispeak] Problem with JAWS7.10 and combo boxes on
the Web

In some combo boxes, unfortunately when you enter them the
item you land on is assumed to be your selection. Other than
hitting the down arrow key twice or three times within a
second, the only solution to that seems to be to ask the
site designer to re-design it, less Java controls perhaps.
However, if this occurs on all Web sites with a combo box
that you visit, it is a problem with JAWS7.10 which should
be brought to the attention of Freedom Scientific.
(Personally, The more I hear about 7.10, the less I'm
inclined to try it out!)
