Donna,

Somewhere in the options of outlook there is a hang up when finished checkbox. If this is checked, unchecking it may solve your issue. Also, In dial up networking, there are settings that control what happens when a connection is idle and when it is dropped. You might want to check those to see if maybe the time out is to short.

One more thing.

If you want to do web stuff with your mail,

hhas a nice interface.

I am using Windows XP Home, JFW, Outlook Express 6 and my ISP is BellSouth

hang up on the last message and will not complete it. If i break the

the server and the next time I try to get my email, I have to go through
receiving all those previous messages. I can go on Bellsouth web mail and
after much effort and a lot of time, I can delete all those previous
messages. This is becoming a serious frustration for me and I am going to
have to stop getting email if I cannot resolve this. Can anyone please
please help me?
