These are there should you wish to uninstall any of the Microsoft Updates. They may be deleted if you are happy with what you have got so far. Provided you have plenty of disk space, they will not reduce your system's performance. Would anyone know if these are necessary to keep over time? I would assume that the first 100 or so have been used long enough that it is unlikely I would be uninstalling them.
