If you find out, please tell me -- I've been wondering the same thing.
Thanks.

Happy holidays to all of you listers,

I am wondering if there is a monitoring program that can watch for newly
created files, folders and registry entries after installing any software
and can put them in a text file or present them in any way so one can track
what is happening in the background?

Have a pleasant end of 2004 and fruitful 2005, George.
