you need.
jam jars or empty plastic pop bottles small or larger ones cut smaller.
strip of black card the height of the jam jar or plastic bottle.
battery lights cost one pound.
double sided sticky tape or glue or prit stick.
halloween punches.
coloured tissue paper or sweet wrappers that are celophane.
how to make lattern.
punch out witches, bats, black cats, moon and stars or make a face by cutting
hole for eyes, triangle nose and mouth with triangles or any cut out shapes in
the black card strip.
next stick the coloured tissue paper or sweet wrappers to cover the shape you
cut or punched out.
next glue or tape the black card around the jam jar or bottle.
put battery light in jam jar or bottle and the shapes will light up.
to know when the battery has gone or not in your lights, if the light is warm
it is lit.
cardboard houses.
you need card, like a 4 card you buy in packs.
glue or prit stick.
battery lights cost one pound.
how to make house.
fold the a 4 card in half long ways and cut so that you have two long pieces.
put the a 4 card long ways towards you, so that the shortest sides are to the
left and right and make a quarter of an inch fold on the right side and then
fold it in half and half again, so that you have four folded squares and a
narrow folded quarter of an inch.
glue or prit stick the quarter of an inch piece and stick it to the other end,
which becomes the four walls of your house, do this again to your other piece
so that you now have two houses.
next you need another piece of a 4 card, put the two shortest edges together
and fold and then cut in half along the fold, then fold these two pieces in
half, these become a roof for the two houses, just place on top of your house.
next to make the windows and door, use a punch to cut out a square or circle or
halloween shape like a witch or cat etcetera.
next place a battery light inside each house.
you can put the house onto a piece of green card and make paper flowers in the
garden.

use different coloured card so that you have different coloured houses.
use brown card and draw black lines scross to make a log cabin.
use pink card, spray with glitter glue and make a cardboard box and put card
cones in each corner to make a palace.
make a toilet roll into a lighthouse.
the list is endless to what you can make.
bunting.
pieces of black card cut into triangles and each triangle punched with a witch
or bat or black cat or glue cut out pictures of witches, bats, pumpkins
etcetera.
just cellotape the triangles to a long piece of string or ribbon and decorate
your room or windows with the bunting.
brooms.
twigs from the garden can be put on to a stick or branch to make a large or
tiny broom.
halloween decorative table.
cheap paper cups, plates etcetera can be decorated with cut out bats, witches,
pumpkins etcetera glued onto them.
