Adele pregnant with first child Adele and her boyfriend Simon Konecki are
expecting
Adele has announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
The '21' singer broke the news on her own blog at Adele.tv/blog earlier today
(June 29). In a post entitled 'I've got some news', she wrote: Im delighted to
announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you
to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited
but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx
The child will be Adele and her boyfriend Simon Konecki's first together.
Konecki, who is divorced, already has a five year old child from his marriage.
Lily Allen wished the couple good luck on Twitter, writing:
Wow. Adeles preggers ! Congratumalations to her and Simon !
Last month Adele won the PRS for Music Most Performed Work award for 'Rolling
In The Deep' and Songwriter Of The Year at the Ivor Novello Awards at a
ceremony in London. Speaking of her single 'Rolling In The Deep', the singer
told the audience: "I really didn't think it was going to do anything!"
Glastonbury boss Michael Eavis also recently revealed that he wanted Adele to
headline the Pyramid Stage at next summer's festival, but that the singer said
no.
