recap from Elizabeth: Looks like an email I posted yesterday has gone astray
as it appeared blank! Serves ne right as I was doing a bit of bragging. Ny
daughter had just infofmed me that she taught Laura Trott, one of the atheletes
who won a gold medal in the Olympics was one of her pupils in the infants class
when she was a teacher . I thought I would share this bit of reflected glory
with you
She was thrilled to bits about it and has sent a card congratulating Laura on
her success. She said Laura had several health problems to overcome as a child
which makes her achievments even more remarkable. I am looking forward to
watching the Paralympics starting with the opening ceremony today. Love to all,
