I  went to Unequal Cuts and heard that april 9 there will be no more high 
middle and low rate d l a, it will be only 2 called severe and less severe, you 
only get severe if you only have 6 months to live, you get points if you cannot 
walk, but if you can wheelchair for certain distance you get no points, you get 
no points if you can cook a tin of soup in a microwave sa this is classed as a 
dinner, you get no points if you are hoisted into bed, you get no points if you 
have a carer to dress you, you will be lucky to get any points on this new 
system which will start april 9.
Everyones benefit stops and if you do not apply on april 9 you will have 
nothing.
When you apply, you fill in questionaire and then you go through their medical, 
then it goes to parliament, then to house of lords to whether you will recieve 
anything.
After her speech ew were allowed to ask questions, I put my hand up to as a 
question, my exact words I said Who the hell wrote that? She answered David 
Froyed that is copying the American welfare system for us.
There were many there and many different speeches and you know me I asked when 
I never knew something.
When the policeman gave his talk, I asked what is 1 0 1? policeman answered 9 9 
9 is for emergency and 1 0 1 is for less important like an appointment to talk 
to the police or to ask something or about the new police website htat they are 
doing etcetera, so now you know too.
R N I B were there giving talk too and Disability were there giving talks and 
others.
There was a buffet incliding chocolates, I had 2 quarter pieces of ham sandwich 
and 2 squares of chocolate, I do not eat much, I heard them say please have 
seconds plenty of food left, Carol you should have went with me. 
There was coffee breaks with biscuits  inbetween talks, but I took my own pop, 
I do not drink hot drinks.
There was talks on housing ebnefit council tax, if you are 1 person in 2 bed 
you pay for the extra bedroom, if you have 3 bedroom and have husband or on 
your own with 4 sons, you pay for extra bedroom as your children are all same 
sex, you only allowed the 3 bedrooms if you have a child of different sex if he 
or she is over the age of 10, so you have to have your son and daughter in same 
room until one of them is 10 years old or you will have to pay for the extra 
room.
Then there was talks of Council, the busses are refusing wheelchairs and are 
saying the wheelchairs are too heavy for the ramps.
There were lots of different speeches and photographers there who were told to 
turn flashes off as some had epilepsy.
After it finished the coalition and the disabilty waited with me as they tried 
to get me a taxi home, took 3 and a half hours ebfore we got a taxi, she said 
she is going to report it to papers, oh my, me not looking forward to 
publicity, I can only sign chip and signature, me not ready for autographs lol.
I hurt big time, but I went and asked questions on behalf of us all.
