Dear Supporter,
As an attendee at our access to information events, RNIB would like to
invite you to support our new and exciting campaign.

You, the service users, continually highlighted your problems in trying
to secure information in your preferred format from your doctor or local
eye hospital. Following these events, we would like to invite you to
take action now in support of our new campaign, 'Losing Patients' which
aims to generate thousands of requests for accessible health information
across the country. Your action will be part of a co-ordinated campaign
to heighten awareness and recognition across the NHS that their culture
of giving ordinary print to blind and partially sighted patients must
end.

The pack enclosed is divided into four sections and provides step by
step instructions on taking action. To make it easier to take action,
the pack includes a pre-formated notification letter that you can send
to your GP or hospital to request written communications in a format you
can read.

If you require any further information please do telephone your local
regional campaigns officer or the campaigns hotline on 020 7391 2123.

Kind Regards
The Campaigns Team
