© ITVCoronation Street businesswoman Carla Connor will be left horrified when
evil Frank Foster recruits his mother to scheme against her in a forthcoming
storyline, a report has claimed.
Show newcomer Anne Foster, played by , aims to heap fresh heartache on Carla
after the factory boss reports Frank for rape, according to The Sun.
As previously revealed, after she decides to call off their wedding.
It had also emerged that after Carla contacts the police, leading to machinery
and stock being lifted from the business by thugs.
However, it has been revealed today that Anne is responsible for putting the
vicious scheme into action - arriving at Underworld to act on Frank's behalf
because he is under strict instructions to stay away from Carla after his
attack.
Gwen TaylorAlthough Anne initially puts on an act by treating Carla kindly, she
is merely biding her time before sending heavies to the factory who claim
Frank's half of the business.
After losing sewing machines and other items, Carla is apparently forced to
cancel important orders - leaving her in a financial crisis.
"Despite raping Carla, Frank believes he has done nothing wrong and is
determined to get his revenge on her for reporting him," a insider told the
newspaper. "He wants to put pressure on her to drop the charges and will offer
to return the machinery in exchange for doing so.
"Anne is the sort of mother that will protect her son no matter what - and
viewers will absolutely hate her."
