Sorry for the delay, but I was on Spring Break and had to go out of town
for one of my chosen family member’s funeral.
Right now, I’m in la la land because I am no longer past-president. Last
year I was also on the conference committee. So, I can either be past-past
president and be on the conference committee or be placed where I can be of
use. I’m not sure what the official duties were except to support the GSIS
President, which I attempted to do. I also attempted to help where need,
especially when we were at the conference. I worked on recruiting
presenters, including DOE members, assisted in printing of posters,
bringing equipment, proofreading schedule, attending meetings, was part of
the Jekyll Island exploratory committee (as I was on previous exploratory
committees) and advised Theresa when she requested it.
Flora, I finally found two old documents with different definitions of the
different committees. Do you want me to scan and email them to you?

I am working on a few things to review and discuss at our next board
meeting which is scheduled on Monday, May 9th at the Monroe County Board of
Ed office at 10:00 am.
In the mean time can each of you take a few moments and email me the
committee you currently serve on with an outline of your responsibilities.
I know we are all busy, but if you can work on this and have it to me by
Friday, April 29th, I would greatly appreciate it.
Also, let me know if there are any agenda items you would like for me to
add.
I plan to have the agenda out to everyone a week before our meeting on
Monday, May 2nd.
