Perhaps if we had auto uploads it would help, but I find it crazy that they
don't seem to care that students are still transferring in an out of schools
and will cause this error.
I dislike feeling like I'm being reprimanded from DC as if I'm not meeting
deadlines intentionally.
It's a ridiculous request in my opinion. I know it's a great 'recommendation'
and we need to work on these errors before the last minute, but this is one
that will continue to pop-up as students transfer.
Am I the only one who feels this way? If yes, I need to figure out a way to let
this go.

Carl, I trust you understand this is an issues districts will continue to face
up until the last day of school for some. Especially those with transit
students who YES are still moving from school to school, district to district
until the last week of school,
For instance, on Friday, May 4th, I didn't have this error. The student who is
causing this error just withdrew on Friday and is now enrolled in another
school, who clearly had already uploaded as of today and now I have to upload.
Which I plan to do later this morning.
Not all districts have automatic uploads enabled.
My point is it is impossible for all districts not to have any E047 or any
other error that comes with duplicate students, this is a good goal to have as
a deadline, but you can not expect everyone to be clear free until their school
year is over.
Just sharing my thoughts on this request that is causing you to spin your head
in frustration as we know it does everytime you share it on any webinar hosted
by data collections.

Hello,
The Student Record Duplicate GTID resolution deadline was April 4, 2018. As of
this email, your district has one, or more, E047 errors that have not been
resolved. Please review the SR066 Duplicate GTID Report to review the students
with the E047 error. The Individual Student Report- located under the Special
Tools link on the SR Main Menu, is very helpful as it shows the overlapping
enrollment information. In some cases, it may be necessary to work with the
other district to resolve the duplicate error due to student transfers during
the school year. Please work diligently to resolve all duplicate errors.
Student Record sign off will be here very soon.
Please contact me if you have any questions or concerning related to resolving
the duplicate errors, or any other Student Record related issue.
Thank you,
Carl Garber
