This is a reminder from our earlier phone conversation. Please talk to IC
about the contact preferences being disabled in OLR for non-Shout Point
districts. Because parent communication via voice call is increasingly
ineffective and FCC regulations require "opt-in" for SMS messaging, we
desperately need to be able to collect contact preferences at time of
registration. Superintendent Wilson is concerned that this is a school
safety issue, limiting our ability to contact parents effectively in the
case of an emergency.
Also, regarding the second issue, the GSIS board would greatly appreciate
any guidance on solving our issue redirecting our website back to
www.gsisusers.org. Thanks, and have a great weekend!
