You are cordially invited to a free presentation and reception/lunch 
at Ithaca College:

   Barbara Anderson, Sustainability Education and Action on the 
College Campus: The Penn State Example, April 4, 12:00-12:50, Textor 
Hall 103, followed by a reception, 1:00-2:30, DeMotte Room, Egbert
Student Union.

Barbara Anderson, a professor in the Science, Technology and Society
Program at Penn State and first Director of the Penn State Center for
Sustainability, will discuss the lessons learned from the university's
efforts to institutionalize green design on its campus, in a lecture
entitled, "Sustainability Education and Action on the College Campus:
The Penn State Example."  Dr. Anderson's lecture will be held on Friday,
April 4, in Textor 103 at 12 noon. Those interested in meeting Dr.
Anderson and continuing the discussion are welcome to attend a reception
for her, with local foods provided,  in the DeMotte Room, Egbert 
Student Union, from 1:00-2:30.

  Dr.Anderson's lecture is sponsored by the the three-year "Applying 
Science to Sustainability" grant awarded to the college, in 
collaboration with EcoVillage at Ithaca, last year.  For more
