Anthony saw one once dive into our hedge, take a sparrow and take
straight off again but I haven't seen one in the garden myself. I think
you were lucky to see it at rest.

We had a sparrowhawk visiting our garden this morning, taking a rest on
the back of a garden chair. Did anyone else see it? It's a first for me,
although apparently they're quite common.
