Subject: [grco-staff] Solar Observing
I have a conflict for events on Tuesday and Thursday. I had agreed to do solar
viewing at the Renaissance Festival on those days, but we now have solar
parties scheduled with schools on Tuesday and Thursday also. Is anyone
available to assist. I have a Lunt scope that can be used at the Renn Fest.
The time for that is 9:30 - 2:30, or I can show someone how to do the solar
viewing at the observatory. That includes a lecture, but I can write that out
- it is pretty basic for kids.
Any help is appreciated. Sorry for the late notice, but the Gilbert Parks ones
just came up.
