First thought.... Have you checked to see if each teacher still has a folder with a name that matches their GQ log in? Is it possible that over the summer they were deleted? I'll keep thinking. I have a little problem I am hoping that this group will help me with. My job description is Computer Teacher, but we have no sys admin so I'm it. Yipee! This is our second year with Gradequick. Last year, I introduced grading, this year we are implementing the attendance electronically. (Later this year, I'll tell them about the lesson planner.) Anyway, our school just upgraded to v.10. I discovered a couple of important things in the process. 1) Don't have ANYONE logged into Gradequick when you are upgrading. The result is a nightmare. Since we have School Minder in the front office, we are also using Site Manager to interface the two. Site Manager upgraded to v.10 but no Gradequick. 2) THEN we were asked to enter an activation code. Neither our reg. # or our SN were acceptable. The answer was to manually copy WGRADE32.exe up to the server. 3) NOW, none of the teachers can login, only adminw. Site Manager lists all users and their corresponding directories accurately but no user name is acceptable. I realize they have to create a password (by leaving it blank on the initial login box) but it always comes back "username is not valid". Since Jackson is REALLY backlogged on tech. support calls (took me 24 hours to get a call back!), I was hoping some of you might have an idea. We started school this week and the teachers keep bugging me on this. BTW, any idea how many people are on this list? Thanks in advance for any help. George Somers Merced, CA
