Hmm. That's weird. I would check the userenv.log file on that one. It will probably tell you where in the GP processing cycle that error is getting thrown. -----Original Message----- From: gptalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:gptalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Washington, Booker Sent: Friday, February 02, 2007 12:04 PM To: gptalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [gptalk] Booker with another good one for the list - Not folder redirection this time :) I tried to run a gpupdate /force under a users profile. I get an error that says: "Failed to refresh User Policy. Error - The system cannot find the file specified. Exiting.... Computer Policy Refresh has completed." I restart the comptuer, run the gpupdate again, and everything is ok. I go to my Group Policy wizard to run the results wizard. For one user ,the wizard runs just fine. For another user, I get the error "The system cannot find the file specified" *********************** You can unsubscribe from gptalk by sending email to gptalk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the freelists.org Web interface.
