Hello everyone,
I set up a new sailing blog website if anyone is interested in signing up,
feel free. I am figuring out all the various capabilities of the software,
but so far it looks pretty nice. One cool feature is rss feeds for the front
page, so if you use firefox you can set up a livebookmark by clicking the
little orange square in the lower right corner of the browser window. You
can upload pictures and such, and anyone is free to make entries. The web
address is http://thecaptainsblog.net and it is hosted on my own server out
in Toano. I will be upgrading the hardware soon, but it seems pretty fast as
is, so it should be fine for now. I will probably develop a custom
stylesheet with some sailing related images and what not, but it is
currently set to the default (yet clean) style. I can implement mailing
lists once I figure out if the software itself is capable, or I can code up
some sort of mailing list signup interface. Please, check it out and feel
free to sign up!
