Folks,

Coach Ebor Ross is looking for an Assistant Coach for his Smithfield High
School Sailing team. This job is unfunded, but has other rewards. You
would be associated with a great coach who is also a top-notch sailor, a
building sailing program that has already achieved remarkable success, and
is improving every year, and working with some of the best kids in the
county. Teaching other people how to sail is a great way to improve your
own skills, too.

There are about twenty kids in the program, with skill levels from novice to
quite skilled. They do individual and team racing. Practice is off Battery
Park, two afternoons per week, with some team racing on Thursday afternoons
at Norfolk Yacht. Competitions are on Saturdays, usually hosted at other
schools or yacht clubs in the area.

Ebor estimates about 20 hours/week, now through the end of October, with a
similar commitment for the Spring season.

If you are interested, please contact Ebor at eborross@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks, and thanks Ebor for keeping this fine program going.

John
