Hello listers,
My name is Patrick, I'm new to the list as well. I'm scheduled to go to
a veterans rehab center to train on some new equipment for going back to
college, right? One of the products is the "Voice Note" I've asked for the
GPS system to be included. I originally asked for the "Braille Note" but am
not real proficient with Braille. I have been blind for some twenty four
years, but never learned that easily, there is not a lot of need now days...
I really don't know what to expect from this machine. The college
campus is spread out with little or no sidewalks, so am hoping this will
help me enough to get along. I have only 2% vision in one eye and live in a
small town. I have had dog guides in the past, but when I retired the last
one I didn't go back for another etc. etc.
I am going to assume that the "Voice Note" has the same GPS as does the
"Braille Note."
I guess I'm looking for some advice on what to expect here is all.

              Patrick
