Hi Jeremy,
There are a number of ways to create a user point of interest.
Option 1: The most obvious way is to physically go to the spot you want the point of interest to be, make sure you have a good GPS fix, with an accuracy better than 30 feet or so is ideal and then on the QT you would press Ctrl + R, on the BT you would press Space with Dot 3. Option 2: Do and address lookup with QT Ctrl + S, BT Space + S, enter in the address and when prompted pick P for Point of Interest. Option 3: Virtually go to the spot you want the POI to be located in virtual mode and press the same keys BT Space Dot3, QT Ctrl + R. Option 4: Enter in the Latitude / Longitude of the Point of interest you want to create using the Space + Y on the BT or Ctrl + Y on the QT and when prompted pick P for Point of Interest. Option 5: The Last way to create a Point of interest is to open a route or create a route to some destination then edit the route using 'E' and find the Waypoint in your route you want to have as a user point of interest using the up/down arrow keys on the QT or Space Dot1 or Space Dot 4 on the BT and then press 'P' to copy this waypoint as a user point of interest.

I would say 99% of the time you will either use option #1 or #2 to create your user POI's but there are those other three options as well for you power users (smile).

Hope this helps.

Hi! Could someone tell me how to create a user point of interest? Like a bus stop. Thanks in advance. Later.
