that solved the problem.
Before I sent the message I checked the audio tutorial for 2011 and it only covered the situation with the mPower and not the Apex so Serial was not one of the choices.
I hope that this will be updated for future tutorials.

Hi,
I may be forgetting something here but I've attempted to have gps
find my bluetooth receiver. It finds the receiver but when I try and
pair it, I don't see active sync, I just see the two choices for
printer and serial.
What am I leaving out. I have gps 2010 and keysoft 9,. something?
