Hi all,
just out of interest, whose maps does Sendero use, particularly for Australia? There are a few vendors doing maps of Australia and some are definitely better than others, so just trying to ascertain the quality of the maps that Sendero uses so I can get an idea of what I am willing to pay when CF comes to the party.

I have four maps loaded.
It happens when walking and a new POI or junction is about to be displayed.
It could be a momentary loss of fix but if this is the case it recovers very 
quickly. It could also be due to satalite single bounce as it happens in
built up areas - I haven't had a chance to test in a more rural setting yet.

I have recently upgraded to the Holux M1000 and have noticed a few things. 

Firstly the accuracy is generally much better I usually seem to get eight
satalites instead of six. The positioning of user POIs is much more
accurate.

One thing I have noticed that I did not notice before switches is that
quite often the braille display on my nPower starts to show the searching
sequence - that is the number 1 often appears for a few seconds before the 
position is shown. Is this normal?
