Hello Donald,
I am quite certain that there is nothing "big" coming out in the next few
months regarding GPS from PDI as a result of the merger between them and
VisuAide. VisuAide's Trekker is build for an IPAQ, a self voicing
application and for them to convert it over to be a plug-in module for the
BrailleNote would take months of development. Lets say for sake of
argument they started to work on this as soon as they merged and put 2 full
time developers on this project, it would be sometime next summer before
you would see anything, and then it would still be competing with
BrailleNote GPS, a product PulseData already sells. So it doesn't make
sense for them to spend all that time and money in R&D to come out with a
product which they already have.
Just my thoughts anyway. I could be totally wrong here, but this is how I
see it.

I'm just wondering since there is this big merger with PulseData and
visualAid if now is really the right time to buy in to the whole GPS
thing? Maybe they are working on something big and it will come out in a
few months. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Donald
