Occasionally, you will need to reset your voice note. Just use a stylus, or the point of an ink pen to press the recessed button behind the power switch.

Simply turning the unit off is similar to putting it to sleep. The reset is like doing a total turn off, and fully removing power.

When doing the reset, you will also need to check the bluetooth connectivity of your reciever. It often will stay paired, but loos it's activation.

In regard to making a route to someplace.

Just by having your reciever on, the GPS will know where you are. So the first thing to do is look up a POI that you want to go to.

Once the POI is found, you should be presented a list of options, as mentioned by another list member, just choose the option to create a pedestrian route. It will automatically set it as your destination, and begin creating your route.

If you had set your current location as a virtual position, it will recognize that and tell you have arrived at your virtual destination, even before you go anywhere.

At my house, if I set my virtual destination at my mailing address, then go for a walk, I'm told I have arrived at my virtual destination as I walk up my block, about 200 feet from my actual house. This is because the logical way of numbering house numbers doesn't quite match the numbering scheme that some early town founder assigned when my house number was assigned.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] getting the GPS to start

Okay I have the M Power and I tried to re activate the GPS. I got to the part where it said it is active. But it says it can not find the engine and to re set the device. I tried it a few times but I can not get it to come back. So what does anyone suggest?
