Actually, the Trekker Breeze is not being phased out of production, and
is being enhanced to bring it near the level of capability of the
original Trekker, at a lower cost. The Braillenote and GPS are actually
two different products. The GPS does not come with the Braillenote, and
is produced by a different company. You must buy the Braillenote and
then by the GPS product from sendero. If you already have a
Braillenote, or want to make use of the many capabilities of the
Braillenote, and also want to use GPS, then you should go with that
package. This is also recommended if you do a lot of traveling to
unfamiliar areas, and want the advanced level of functionality afforded
by the Sendero product. However, if you are only interested in a
standalone GPS solution that is easy to use and provides basic GPS
orientation capability, you may want to consider the Trekker Breeze for
ease of use and much lower cost.
