In wayfinder, you have to go into the settings and switch the mode of travel. I find this to be a bit of a pain when I either forget which mode I had set last or if I decide I want to create a new type of route. This is not as convenient as simply choosing a pedestrian or vehicle route on the fly as you can on the Sendero GPS products. The routes are created very quickly on Wayfinder assuming you have a connection but having to go into settings each time you switch the type of route is inconvenient.Mike At 09:29 PM 4/24/2009, you wrote:Hi, yes, you can create either type of root, actually way finder goes a step further, you can create a root for the shortest distance, or the fastest root. This really only makes a difference for vehicle roots, I've found them to be the same for padestrian roots.
