Hi everyone,

I heard a couple people suggest either a small fee or a rental fee to use
maps for a short period of time while they are on vacation for example.

Well if you haven't used your 30 day trial you can do this. Just copy or
delete your Map/Product license keys out of your /Flash Disk/GPS folder and
then go into the program. This will then ask you to start the 30 day trial
or register your product. If you start the 30 day trial then you can load
any maps we have and use them for 30 days. Also if you lets say Go to Italy
for a week the come back to the USA your home country, what you do is remove
your map/product keys from the Flash Disk/GPS, go to Italy and use the Trial
version while there, that will use up 7 days. Then put your map/product
keys back and use your normal version for the next few months. Then lets
say you take another trip to the UK, well remove your map/product keys and
use the trial again. You will still have 23 days remaining of the 30 days.
So you stay in the UK for 14 days, and now you have 9 days still remaining
for some other trip. So there is no need for us to rent you the maps you
can already do this yourself. Now if you use up the 30 days trial in order
to decide if you want to purchase the product well then that's a different
story and you will need to purchase that countries maps when you go on
vacation once your 30 day trial is over. Just remember when you get back to
reinstall or copy back your map/product keys and stop using the Trial
version. One important point is if you start to play with your date you may
loose your trial version, after this happens you are out of luck and you
will have to purchase other countries if you want to use your GPS after your
trial has expired.

Hope this helps.

no, but what about $10 or $20 just for one country for a short period. I
have also asked this before.

        Hi,
Why would you rent them for $50 a month when you can purchase the UK
        bundle for example for $60.

        Thanks
        Chris
