[gps-talkusers] Upgrade from V5 to v6 Question

Hi All,
I feel sure that this question has come to this list and has been dealt with
in great detail, but here it comes again.
I have just purchased the upgrade to v6 from v5 and am in the process of
deciding how many maps to have immediately available. What size cf card is
needed for the whole US? I see no option to discover this on my own except
to add all the file sizes together for each region download. Then, though,
I still don't know how much free space there should be on the cf card. I
don't know how many POI and other files need to be copied into all available
folders so that the program will find them easily as I move from region to
region in my exploration.
Will I need to uninstall V5 before installing v6? I see an uninstall
download in the list of links on my new download page.
Thanks in advance for any help and wish me luck because this seems like a
daunting task right now.
