1. ware the device under your jacket.  This would keep the device warm.

2.  Ware a small ear bud so you could hear the speech and not worry
about the braille display.

3.  Set as much to automatically announce as possible.  For example you
might like the heading/distance to your next turn announced every 12
seconds if following a route.Ajust the Multiple repeat and LookAround options
to find settings that work best for you.

4.  Lock the keyboard, this way keys won't get inadvertently pressed.
