That could be my problem. I have never been able to install KS 7.5 build 28, it just wouldn't do anything. Any ideas are appreciated. Jim

Hi all,
I just got done running a couple small tests. the results i found are
below.
All machines were set to eastern time with daylight savings set to on.
1. BrailleNote QT running ks 7.5 build 28 set the system time
correctly.

2. BrailleNote BT running ks 7.5 build 28 set the system time
correctly.
3. BrailleNote PK running ks 7.5 build 27 set the system time,
incorrect, it was an hour behind.

4. VoiceSense running it's latest firmware set the time correctly.

The QT, PK and VoiceSense used the same receiver to conduct the test.
Hope this helps.
Chris

I think that is the First Sunday in April. But I am not sure.
I know this is a low priority however can you or someone check this out and
see what can be done about it. I foresee it being a Problem in the fall
also. I am surprised that I didn't identify this last fall, but there was a
upgrade since then.

Hi Claude,
I am somewhat surprised that this is occurring, I know Rob during the last
Keysoft release put in some fixes to address this very issue, but who knows. The main problem is the US congress's change to when Daylight savings occurs
here in the USA and Canada. I am thinking that after the "normal" day for
daylight savings has passed this issue would resolve itself (but for that
2-3 week period the time would be off by an hour).

Sorry about this folks, not much I can do, I tell Keysoft what the GMT time is from the GPS receiver and it is up to the BrailleNote to set its internal
clock correctly. I guess I would make sure you have the latest version of
Keysoft, and if you do and its still happening then I am at a loss, I guess try again in a few days when the originally scheduled DLS is soposto kick in
(not sure exactly what day that would be) and that hopefully will resolve
this issue.

Charles.

I like to update the time with the satellite time and it's not
currently Synchronizing correctly.
