Hello all, I'm currently using gpodder 0.11.2 on Ubuntu 7.10. I'm trying to sync my podcasts to my iPod Nano 1st gen. Trying to do it from the GUI gives me some unhelpful generic errors, so I tried running it from the command line, and got the following: ragabash 08h51 [~/Desktop] gpodder -s S Opening iPod database ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (99859+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (92272+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (121845+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (73950+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (48414+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (8388+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (141567+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (2042+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (20456+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (86167+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (17453+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (32559+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (32087+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (14647+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (17030+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (14922+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (20133+1 != 0) ** (gpodder:16511): WARNING **: iTunesDB and ArtworkDB artwork sizes inconsistent (27886+1 != 0) E Cannot open device. It sounds to me like this is some problem with the actual iPod database, but since I am able to use other iPod tools (such as Floola), I'm not certain. I don't have much on the iPod itself, so I'm not opposed to recreating the DB if that will fix it, but I'm not sure how to do that without using iTunes. (I avoid using iTunes if at all possible.) Does anyone have any suggestions on how to correct this problem? Thanks! Chris
