Hi,
have you tried checking the extensions.rename_download.add_sortdate
option in Preferences / Edit Configuration?
It will prepend the episode date in YYYY-MM-DD format, naturally
sorting filenames by release date.
A sequential number is not currently supported.

First of all, congratulations for the work done so far!
I would like to ask if it is possible in the future, the possibility
of renaming the podcast files, as well as with their real name as it
already happens now, but also with the suffix of a sequential number
that follows the date of issue. For example: Episode 1/31/2020
Episode 7/2/2020 Episode 14/2/2020
they become...
01-Episode 1/31/2020
02-Episode 7/2/2020
03-Episode of 14/2/2020
and so on
