I played around with your changes and refactored things a bit here and
there, looks fine so far.
I've also added some auto-detection feature: When you supply the channel
URL in the form http://user:pass at host/path, gPodder will ask you if you
would like to use authentication data for downloading episodes as well,
and fill the username/password fields accordingly.
What do you think?
