Hi Eric and Thomas, no problem, I probably wasn't fully clear in my description
for a sighted person either ...
I actually run into another thing which isn't working under windows as it does
with the command line interface. Could you please have a look at this?
This is a korean youtube channel one whose title contains some fancy unicode
which shows up as ____. In order to be able to give such channels real and
meaningful names I edited an Opml file with just one single subscription which
I change for each such channel I encounter.
Here is the content of this file, edited for this channel:
----------------------------------------
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<opml version="2.0">
<head>
<title>gPodder subscriptions</title>
<dateCreated>Sun, 03 May 2015 11:33:00 +0200</dateCreated>
</head>
<body>
<outline text="" title="Stacker TV, %Kor" type="rss"
xmlUrl="https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UCHsfvqMgaEIEbYOXS4bGKlw"/>
</body>
</opml>
----------------------------------------
When I do the CLI commands:
import single.opml
update
https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UCHsfvqMgaEIEbYOXS4bGKlw";
download
https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=UCHsfvqMgaEIEbYOXS4bGKlw";
I get a folder "Stacker TV, %Kor" where the videos are downloaded.
However when I import the Opml file in Windows 7, the folder is called "__ TV".
Why is my entry by the line <outline text="" title="Stacker TV, %Kor"
ignored under windows? Can this be fixed or achieved differently under windows?
Eric, regarding screen readers: I think we could talk privately in details
about this, so feel free to contact me offlist. For the record here: I use jaws
for windows under windows 7 pro, 64-bit. There is another well regarded screen
reader called NVDA, which is open source. (Windows 8 might work better under
NVDA.)

And finally under dinwos there is Window eyes from GW Micro.

Under mac there is VoiceOver for macs and IOS devices:

Thanks both for your help and kind regards
Ben

After that however I'm stuck. How do I really add the file so that
GPodder starts downloading? There are some buttons like Select all,
select none, cancel and add. But clicking on "add" does nothing. Any
idea what I'm doing wrong?
