we want to call out that the annual GOR conference OR2021
(https://www.or2021.unibe.ch) is taking place this year fully virtual
and at reduced registration rates (~100€ for early bird GOR members).
The (already extended) submission deadline is this Friday, April 30th.
Don't miss that, and submit your abstracts.
Let me call out one specific stream which our working group
co-organizes: "Discrete and Combinatorial Optimization".
We will have sessions such as
o Computational MIP: including computational aspects around LP, B&B,
B&P,... and nonlinear as well
o Machine Learning & Optimizaton
o Software for OR: from optimization solvers, over modeling languages
to complete deployment frameworks
o and several more!

The International Conference on Operations Research – the joint annual
conference of the Operations Research Societies of Switzerland (SVOR),
Germany (GOR e.V.) and Austria (ÖGOR) – will be held online from August
31 to September 3, 2021. The conference connects academics and
practitioners from operations research, management science, data science
and analytics. Designed around this year’s special theme – «Business
Analytics for Data-Driven Decision Making» – the OR 2021 is an excellent
platform to share the most recent research, to discuss trends in the
industry and interact with leading experts. Please join us! Abstracts
can be submitted from January 15 to April 30.
