Hi Vy,
In fact, we do not automatically install any MusicXML examples. We need to
improve our installer to do so.
Meanwhile, here is some important information about MusicXML including links to
a couple of good examples. Be sure to read the entire explanation as it should
help you to avoid some of the common problems with trying to import MusicXML
and with understanding how to cope the compressed versions.

There are a growing number of MusicXML files available online for download at
little or no cost. Here are a couple of examples you can download for free.

N. B. One does not open MusicXML files in Lime. One Imports MusicXML files.
To import:
Download and save the MusicXML file to your Desktop or any folder taking note
of the location of the folder where you saved the MusicXML file.
run the Lime program
Choose “Import” under Lime’s File menu and then choose “MusicXML.”
In the "Open" dialog that appears, change "Files of Type" to "All."
Browse to where you saved your MusicXML file and then click “Open.”
Depending on how the MusicXML file was created, Lime may present a dialog
asking for information such as number of measures per system. 4 is a good
value for measures per system or systems per page.
Once you OK any dialogs, you should now have the score in Lime’s main music
window.
From there, you can choose to make any desired revisions. If you are using the
Lime Lighter features, set your desired zoom level and you are ready to read
this as a musician with low vision. If you use the Lime Aloud talking score
feature, you are ready to read using JAWS or with your screen reader of choice.
See directions for launching GOODFEEL to automatically transcribe your piece
to the equivalent braille music such as NVDA.
Important Note about Compressed MusicXML Files
Once you have a standard MusicXML file, you can follow directions above. If you
yourself have exported to MusicXML from a music notation program such as Finale
or Sibelius, you can be sure that your MusicXML file is ready for import into
Lime. But if you download MusicXML from a website such as musescore.com, beware
as those files are typically in the .mxl compressed format. See directions
below for decompressing those kinds of files.
To determine whether your file is compressed or not, highlight the file name.
Press F2 or right-click on the file name and choose "Rename." If the extension
is .xml or .musicxml, no problem. If it is .mxl, see directions below on
unzipping.
Unzipping/Decompressing .mxl Files
MusicXML scores are often only available in the compressed .mxl format. Here
is your quick tutorial on how to unzip .mxl files.
Extracting MusicXML Files from the mxl Compressed Format
Download the .mxl version.
Note: You can substitute the keystroke SHIFT+F10 for "right click" in the
following directions.
Press SHIFT+F10 or right click on the file and rename to .zip extension. That
is, change .mxl to .zip extension.
Now right click and choose "Extract All"
Windows should create a folder that contains the source .xml file.
Now you can run the Lime program and import:
Choose “Import” under Lime’s File menu and then choose “MusicXML.”
In the "Open" dialog that appears, change "Files of Type" to "All."
Browse to where you saved the MusicXML file and then click “Open.”
Lime may present a dialog asking for information such as number of measures per
system. 4 is a good value for measures per system or systems per page.
Once you OK any dialogs, you should now have the score in Lime’s main music
window.

Subject: [goodfeel] question on XML examples and music editing using PC keyboard
Hello listers!
My name is Vy. I am a nuby to the list. I hope everyone is doing well and safe.
Can someone please point me where I can find the XML examples after the
installation of Lime and the GoodFeel Suite?
If possible, I also need help with some tips on how to create and edit my music
verbally as well as using my laptop keyboard using Lime Aloud.
Thank you everyone for your support.
You all take care, and thanks for reading.
