HI, Ruby,
As I wrote, provided the Orbit is compatible with JAWS, it should work just
fine with Lime Aloud. I have just used a search engine to search for the terms
"JAWS and Orbit braille display"
And I found a page that contains the Orbit Reader 20™ User Guide.
There is a section about Orbit and JAWS that includes a link to a driver for
JAWS 17, 18, and 2018.
So the good news is that the Orbit should work just as well with Lime and Lime
Aloud as any other braille display supported by JAWS. Remember, the Orbit 20
has only 20 cells so you would need to pan to see the rest of the line of
braille music. I believe that GoodFeel currently limits the number of
characters on a braille line to a minimum of 27. Of course, we could revise
that in future.
You can find the Orbit Reader 20™ User Guide at the following URL:

Dear Bill and all, braille displays, whether they are expensive or not, all
have bluetooth is it not? why only braille edge and note taker can be used for
Goodfeel and lime, and not Orbit Reader? of course it doesn't have other option
such as calculator, calander, reminder and so on! but, Orbit Reader has
bluetooth, as other displays have. what is the difference between these
devices?
I'm curious.

That is the problem. Does the thing even have drivers? I used one and it
would not read braille music correctly unless it was a library of Congress
file. I write braille music on my braille note and the orbit would read it
all wrong. Since last January I have been trying to find someone at orbit
research but nobody answers the phone or replies to email there. Have they
closed?

Hi, Maria and Ruby,
Lime does not accept six-key braille entry, if that is what you are asking.
That being said, I see no reason why the Orbit could not display braille
music generated by Lime and GoodFeel provided it has a driver that is
compatible with the JAWS for Windows screen reader.
