Hi, GOODFEEL does not produce Unicode braille but we do translate our braille
to different braille tables. We don't have one for Finland but perhaps you
could look in C:\ProgramData\DancingDots\GOODFEEL\ExtASCII and create your own
and select it in GOODFEEL's Transcription Options dialog. We have been thinking
about Unicode braille but we are currently working on other things. Albert

Hello all!
I sometimes have read scores which is saved into braille unicode format.
I have sometimes thought I could maybe share some braille scores I have
done with Goodfeel and I have understood that braille unicode could be
the best format. If the score is in braille unicode you can see all
marks correctly althought your primary braille table would be something
else than United states. But I have no idea how to convert normal
braille ascii file made by Goodfeel into the braille unicode. I think it
needs some translator or something like that. I tested yesterday some
website I don’t remember the name of page but it
didn’t translate that
score correctly althought it was a normal ascii text. All marks were
incorrect. I have understood that Goodfeel cannot create braille unicode
straightly. When using Goodfeel and braille embosser ascii braille is
good solution but if you should share the score to someone unicode could
be maybe easier. Here in Finland if we read braille ascii scores we have
to first change the braille table to English because in Finland’s
braille table scores don’t see correctly.
