You can certainly save your score as BRF file. When you translate the lime file
into braille via goodfeel, open the braille viewer by pressing the braille
editor button from the goodfeel processing window. then you can choose the BRF
format you want to save the file into.

Subject: [goodfeel] How to Produce Digital Braille Scores with Goodfeel
Dear Goodfeel Users:
I don't often write to this list, but I have a curiosity question. Is there a
way to create a digital score with Goodfeel, perhaps in BRF format? My reason
for asking is because digital scores have a number of advantages over their
hard copy counterparts. For one thing, they don't ware out. Also, they're much
easier to carry. Finally, you can always back them up in case of a file
corruption.
I started using digital scores from the Library of Congress this past fall
for learning my piano repertoire. It was so nice to be able to have a whole
library of scores on my Braille Sense U2 and be able to portably take them to
church or school and simply find a piano to practice on. Sometimes I would even
study the scores on the train while going to and from school. I also enjoyed
being able to instantly get the scores without having to wait for them to be
shipped to me. The best part is that I could keep the digital copies forever!
I am about to commence learning a new organ piece for church, and have a
score in Music XML format that's waiting to be imported into Lime, but I would
like to save a digital Braille version of this if at all possible. Yes Lime can
provide this for temporary use in the .lim format, but I would be tied to my
computer. So a BRF file would be much better for portability purposes. That way
I can take the score to the organ just like I would if it were in hard copy
braille.
Thanks for your help, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Timothy Jones
