I'm a Braille Music Teacher and I'd just like to echo what has already
been said.
When you read 2356 after part of a bar, it is asking you to repeat
that section of the bar. If you read said sign in a bar on its own,
following a bar of notes, it is asking you to repeat that bar. You are
probably reading it on a new line in this case but it still follows a
bar of music in both hands.
Very best wishes,
Sandra.

If it is by itself it means to repeat the previous measure.

Hi all
Michelle Stevens here,
Just wondering I am really stuck on a braille sign cannot remember what
it
means.
What is dots 2356 on its own mean. I have right and left hand with
that
sign written once on a single line for both left and right hands . I do
know that if the sign was written after notes it means to repeat? Omen
its own hmm am stuck.
This music I am relearning is Clair de lune
Many thanks
Michelle
