[gmpi] 3.11 Parameter Deltas ?

I notice that 3.11 says nothing about Parameter Delta's being implemented in
GMPI. Is there a requirement for a Delta implementation (as in the DXi
GetParamDeltas() call) in GMPI ? To quote the Cakewalk Dxi document on
this:
" At any particular point in time, a parameter's envelope has both a value
and a set of "deltas." These deltas are essentially the first- and second-
derivatives of the shape for that point in time, for shapes that are of type
MP_CURVE_LINEAR, MP_CURVE_SQUARE and MP_CURVE_INVSQUARE.
The purpose of a deltas is to enable sample-by-sample rendering. The
following code fragment illustrates how this might work in a real plug-in:"
Thoughts on their inclusion anyone ? Hopefully Ron can give us some real
world performance benefits ?
