Fellow Alums,
Below you will find the VT Admissions recruiting schedule for this Fall. As
always, we would like to help VT add some diversity to their interactions with
local students by assisting them at these venues.
Please take a look at the list below and seriously consider attending. If you
see an event that you can support, just fill out the attached College Fair
Participation Form and email back to me
(michael.a.chapman@xxxxxxxx<mailto:michael.a.chapman@xxxxxxxx>) ASAP. Not all
venues will allow extra persons to attend due to space limitations, but we
won't know that until the request is made. So make your request and see what
happens.
I've attended a number of these events in the past, and it's always enjoyable
talking with parents and students about my personal experience with VT. The
admissions personnel will answer all the technical questions, so all you need
to do is be personable, approachable, and ready to offer advice to students of
color and their parents. And the VT Admissions Office really welcomes our
participation!!!
