This Electronics Engineer (Electro-Optical Sensor Systems) position will be 
filled under the NASA Pathways Recent Graduate Program. At full performance 
level the focus of the position will be that of an optical engineer responsible 
for the design, analysis, development, test and evaluation of optical subsystem 
for technologically advanced remote sensing instruments.
DUTIES:

The Recent Graduates Program affords developmental experiences in the Federal 
Government intended to promote possible careers in the civil service to 
individuals who have recently graduated from qualifying educational 
institutions or programs. Successful applicants are placed in a dynamic 
developmental program with the potential to lead to a civil service career in 
the Federal Government.

Duties at full performance level involve serving as an optical engineer 
responsible for the design, analysis, development, test and evaluation of 
optical subsystems for technologically advanced remote sensing instruments. 
This position is concerned with professional engineering and physical science 
equipment development that produces new or substantially improved products and 
processes.
