We received the email below from Jaedda Hall, MA, SHRM-CP, STEM Promise Program
Coordinator for the Intercultural Learning and Women's Center at Tidewater
Community College Virginia Beach Campus.

She is announcing the TCC Women’s Center STEM Promise Program scholarship for
the 2019-2020 academic year.  Read the email below and click the link to get

Good Morning!

I’m happy to announce that we are now accepting applications for our 2019
Tidewater Community College (TCC) STEM Promise Scholarship Program!!

*         As you may recall, the TCC Women’s Center STEM Promise Program is
designed to boost the number of women and minority students achieving STEM
degrees.  Scholarships cover the full cost of tuition for 2 academic years.

*         The program covers six eligible degree programs.  Our 2017 and 2018
scholars are currently working towards degrees in engineering, computer science
and information systems technology.  Up to 20, more students will be awarded
scholarships for fall 2019.

*         In addition to paying $0 in tuition, students will enjoy TCC’s small
classes with instructors who are interested in their success.  To ensure these
students get on the right track and stay there, we are also providing
specialized advising and Women’s Center programs in STEM career exploration and
mentoring.
